Position: Marine Mechanic – Full-Time
Location: La Grange, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full Time | Occasional weekend work
BoatWRX is a trusted marine service and repair company specializing in mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, fiberglass work, and full-scale houseboat remodels. We’re currently seeking a skilled and dependable Marine Mechanic to join our team in La Grange, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair inboard and outboard engines (Mercury, Yamaha, etc.)
Perform maintenance and repairs on fuel systems, electrical systems, steering, and cooling systems
Conduct pre-season and post-season inspections
Test, troubleshoot, and ensure boats are water-ready
Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with service advisors
Occasionally assist with hauling, launching, and inspecting boats
Work both independently and as part of a team in a shop and dockside environment
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a marine or small engine mechanic
Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Certifications from Mercury, Yamaha, or other OEMs are a plus
Preferred Skills:
Experience with houseboats, pontoons, and jet boats
Welding, fabrication, or fiberglass repair experience
Ability to read service manuals and follow manufacturer guidelines

Position: Construction Laborer
BoatWrx, LLC is a growing marine service company specializing in boat maintenance repairs and custom houseboat remodels. Based in La Grange, CA, we are known for delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable solutions for our customers’ boating needs.
We’re currently seeking a dependable and experienced laborer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in painting, drywall, framing, electrical, and plumbing work. Knowledge of Tufflex material or roof coating systems is a plus. Applicants must be comfortable using tools, able to lift 50+ pounds, and willing to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work required. We offer competitive wages based on experience, along with opportunities for growth within the company. We’re looking for someone who is punctual, detail oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
